    Abstract
This research aims to determine the Hallyu Korean Food Habitus among Students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra. This research was conducted using descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in the research were in-depth interviews and documentation. The informants in this research were 10 people consisting of students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences who were fans of the Hallyu korean food habitus. The results of this research show that students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences tend to have different views on the development and meaning of Hallyu korean food for each informant and can find out students' views regarding local food, the negative impact of korean food and korean food as an identity among students. And so that they as students also have awareness in efforts to reduce the consumptive behavior of consuming korean food for each informant. Apart from that, the implications of the research can provide insight into the results of the analysis of the concept of habitus in Hallyu korean food among students. The research results show that hallyu culture has penetrated culture in Indonesia through a process that departs from bilateral relations between Indonesia and South Korea. This bilateral relationship then made hallyu a cultural adaptation in Indonesia. Furthermore, through cultural hegemony, hallyu poses a threat to national identity in Indonesia, so that national identity experiences a crisis. Then, this process is what Hallyu knows as cultural penetration in Indonesia.
