dc.description.abstractThe benefits of induction motors in the industrial world are numerous, especially in the production sector. This is because induction motors have many advantages such as strong construction, simple and relatively cheap maintenance. However, there are weaknesses in regulating speed and torque. One of the 3-phase induction motor speed settings is vector control. This method is able to control speed precisely because it is supported by PID control manually to control inputs and outputs to achieve the expected value. However, with the development of the modern era, it can be done automatically, especially in regulating PID control by utilizing artificial intelligence, one of which is artificial neural networks. In this research, an artificial neural network controller will be analyzed in studying the data that has been carried out by the PID controller so that the speed control on the induction motor runs stably. In this study, loading tests will be carried out at 0 Nm, 80 Nm, 140 Nm, 290 Nm and 400 Nm and reference speeds of 40 rps, 75 rps and 120 rps. Simulation results from the use of artificial neural network controllers show the system can reach the expected reference speed in less than 3 ms obtained the results of Rise time of 0.7914 s, Settling time of 0.9738 s and steady state error of 0.17526%. and overshoot 0.04065%. It is evident that the use of artificial neural network method is able to learn the data that has been done using PID so that the speed control on the induction motor runs stable.en_US
