This means that that amount is still relatively small compared to the overall market. However, imported fruits appear to be everywhere because they are widely sold in supermarkets and modern stalls, making them easily noticeable. Creating a modern management pattern in a local fruit and vegetable market building in Medan City is expected to enhance the marketability of local fruits and vegetables. Since ancient times, markets have been an integral part of social life for communities, serving as a platform for economic activities that support the needs of the people and serve as a meeting place for sellers and buyers. The purpose of planning this fruit and vegetable market is to create a market that serves as a center for distributing local fruits and vegetables, emphasizing local produce while also attracting tourists. In order to achieve a well-functioning and visually appealing market concept and design, this local fruit and vegetable market adopts the Neo Vernacular theme.
