dc.description.abstractTraditional markets have an important role in driving the community's economy, but currently the condition of many traditional markets seems shabby, chaotic, dirty, smelly, hot, cramped, etc. so that their existence is decreasing so that revitalization is necessary. so that traditional markets can continue to compete. One example is Belawan Market which is one of the economic centers of the North Medan community. This area has large resource potential but has not been utilized optimally. This research uses descriptive data collection methods, which involve collecting, reviewing and analyzing written sources or literature relevant to the report topic. A literature study was carried out by comparing several buildings to gain an in-depth understanding of the needs of traditional markets. The approach used is Green Architecture which can be seen from its application in design.en_US
