The objectives of this research include finding and developing local culinary potential as a tourist attraction in four Tourism Destination Objects (ODTW), namely Haranggaol, BIS, Sibaganding, and Parapat in Simalungun Regency,finding and describing culinary tourism planning in four ODTW, namely Haranggaol, BIS, Sibaganding, and Parapat in Simalungun Regency, designing a culinary tourism development model in four ODTW, namely Haranggaol, Bukit Indah Simarjunjung, Sibaganding, and Parapat in Simalungun Regency. Regionalplanning is a process of knowing and analyzing current conditions, forecasting the development of various factors, estimating limiting factors, setting goals and objectives to be achieved, determining steps to achieve goals and determining locations and various activities to be carried out. This research was conducted in Simalungun District, a district in the outer ring of the DSPDT, North Sumatra Province. By using selected observations and contrasting questions, a number of contrasting dimensions among domain residents will be identified (we will know, for example, that main meals are found in "dayok nabinatur" and "saksang", while desserts are found in "lapet boras" and "marlakop-lakop" and perhaps many more contrasting main meals and desserts). It is the issue of such contrasts that is of concern in componential analysis. Planning for culinary tourism in ODTW is done with a SWOT analysis assessment. The culinary tourism development model in ODTW Haranggaol, BIS, Sibaganding, and Parapat is the Supply and Demand model Designing a culinary tourism development model in four ODTW (Haranggaol, BIS, Sibaganding, and Parapat) in Simalungun Regency. A good tourist attraction must be able to bring in many tourists, hold them for a long time, with the assumption that the greater the profit expected from their presence by providing satisfaction to tourists. Activities and objects that are attractions must be in good condition, both attractions in the form of activities such as dances, as well as attractions in the form of objects, such as temples, krises and so on, the way of presentation must be appropriate because the tourist attraction is presented in front of visitors to the tourist attraction which will be said to be successful if it creates an impression and satisfaction to tourists.Tourist objects must also be integrated with other tourism conditions such as services and transportation. The identification of tourist attractions and existing supporting facilities/infrastructure in DTW Haranggaol, Bukit Indah Simarjarunjung, Sibaganding, and Parapat, Simalungun Regency was carried out using data on existing tourist attractions in DTW Haranggaol, Bukit Indah Simarjarunjung, Sibaganding, and Parapat, Simalungun Regency obtained from field observations and from the results of the Quantitative - Two Steps Questionnaire round I method.
