dc.description.abstractBerastagi District is a district that has the potential for beautiful nature and fertile land which is utilized as agro-tourism. Existing agritourism must be developed again so that it can compete with other tourist attractions in Berastagi District. The purpose of this study is to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of agritourism, determine agritourism development strategies to be used in the development of agritourism. The samples used in this study were the Karo Regency Tourism Office, managers and visitors to agritourism in Berastagi District. These three objectives were carried out using the SWOT method using the IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Strategy) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) matrices to determine agritourism development strategies. The results obtained are the position of the company is in cell V (Hold and Maintain). There are 14 strategies agritourism development strategies that are maintaining and maintaining such as market penetration and product development or improvement of agritourism services.en_US
