Analisis Makna dan Fungsi Idiom/Peribahasa Bahasa Jepang Berunsur Bagian Tubuh

Abstract

This research discuss about the meaning and function of idiom Japanese or proverbs containing body parts. The object of this research is Japanese proverbs containing body parts found on the youtobe channel Mainichi Nihongo Benkyou. This research aims to reveal how language speakers capture and express psychological conditions, social interactions, and cultural values that influence the construction of meaning and function. The menthod used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection in this research was carried out using the listening and note taking method. The data analyzed uses the semantic theory of meaning to see the meaning of proverbs and the function theory is to see the function or use based on the type of proverb. The results of research on the meaning and function of Japanese idioms or proverbs on the YouTube channel Mainichi Nihongo Benkyou show that there are elements of body parts that are grouped based on the forehead element, face element, head element, hair element and eyebrow element.. Each meaning of a proverb describes a certain aspect of life , work, environment or situation, such as esxpressing emotional feelings. And meanwhile, based on its function it is found educational function, expressive function, social function and cofnitive function.
