    Abstract
Mortar ECC is a composite material composed of cement, sand, water, superplasticizer, cementitious material and does not use gravel. To support the manufacture of environmentally friendly ECC mortar, this research used waste in the form of palm shell ash (ACS) as a cementitious material. This research was conducted with an experimental study to determine the effect of adding palm shell ash in the ECC mortar mixture. The total number of ECC moratar specimens is 36 pieces. There are 3 types of ECC mortar mix, namely AME, EM and TEM with varying percentages of palm shell ash used at 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% by weight of cement. Each variation consists of 3 samples of cube test objects with a size of 15x15x15 cm. The compressive strength test of ECC mortar was carried out at 3 days of age. The compressive strength to be achieved for ECC mortar is > 21 Mpa. Based on the test results, the optimum compressive strength of 42.66 MPa was obtained for the EM type with an ACS percentage of 10%. Next is the stage of making Asphalt crumb rubber gravel composite mortar ECC. Improving the quality of asphalt mixes has always been in the spotlight these days. One of the materials used to modify the asphalt composite mixture is (crumb rubber) which is obtained by recycling used car tires or waste rubber. Asphalt concrete modified with waste rubber has proven to be quite successful in road construction around the world. To increase the strength and durability of asphalt pavements, it is important to conduct research to make new innovations on the pavement. There are 4 types of tests on asphalt crumb rubber gravel composite mortar ECC namely compressive strength test, flexural strength test, impact test and fire resistance test. Where each test consists of 6 samples, namely 3 samples for 3-day-old samples and 3 samples for 7-day samples. The compressive strength test, impact test and fire resistance test used a cube specimen with a size of 15x15x15 cm, while the flexural strength test used a beam test object with a size of 15x15x60 cm. In the 3-day compressive strength test, an average value of 3.56 MPa was obtained, and for 7 days the average value was 7.56 MPa. It is clear that the compressive strength performed at 7 days was better than 3 days. Furthermore, in the flexural strength test, the average yield value for 3 days is 9.4 and the average value for 7 days is 11.8 . The impact test also has good results for diameter values and depth values (t), that is, on test objects aged 3 days with an average crack occurring at the 5th punch in samples B and C. Then on test objects aged 7 days the average crack occurs on the 8th blow on samples A, B and C. Then in the fire resistance test the value 185.02 for 3 days and 205.02 for 7 days.
