dc.description.abstractUMKM empowerment should increase innovation and services and expand the marketing area as UMKM itself contributes to reducing unemployment and poverty by increasing economic growth as well as having a positive impact on the national economy. The UMKM building will facilitate sales and purchase activities for UMKM Students, Professors and General UMKM Traders. Location on Jl. Dr. Mansyur, Medan Baru, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara. The problem in this planning is how to create a UMKM building that can provide a positive contribution to the environment and how to apply the theory and concepts of biophilic into the building with the aim of how to design a building that can be used to trade and purchase also be comfortable for visitors who want to recuperate and design buildings that can meet the needs, and facilitate the UMKM who are compatible with KRK by presenting RKS as well as RAB into this writing. The method used is to find common problems such as the need for buildings by starting from the given KRK and then collecting the site data and analysis the data of the site and then adapted to the design site. Next is to structure the concept of biophilic into the design and present the results of the design. The design building is located at Jl. Dr. Mansyur, Medan Baru, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara with 15,000m2 of site and has a total of 3 (Three) floors for the planning of the UMKM Collaboration Building. The building uses the concept of Biophilic which is, Thermal & Airflow Variability and dynamic light, subtle changes in air temperature, relative humidity, air ducts on the skin and surfaces that mimic the natural environment and take advantage of the variations in the intensity of light and shadow that change over time to create the conditions found in nature.en_US
