This study is entitled “Morning Briefing and Employee Engagement at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara, Medan Branch Office.” The objective of this research is to examine the relationship and influence of morning briefings on employee engagement, encompassing the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions. Grounded in Karl Weick’s Organizational Information Theory, the study highlights the critical role of communication in managing organizational information to reduce uncertainty. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 95 permanent employees selected through total sampling. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test and the coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS version 26.0. The findings reveal a statistically significant relationship between morning briefings and employee engagement, with a correlation coefficient of 0.899 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a strong positive correlation. Furthermore, morning briefings contribute to 81% of the variance in employee engagement. Among the three dimensions, behavioral engagement was found to be the most dominant. These results affirm that morning briefings serve as an effective organizational communication strategy to enhance employee engagement. Consequently, it is recommended that management improve the quality of morning briefings through interactive, appreciative, and consistent implementation.en_US
