dc.description.abstract | Background: An optimal work environment is one that creates a clean and
comfortable atmosphere. To achieve this, good management is required. The
arrangement of the workspace in the D3 Secretariat Study Program is crucial. A
well-organized office layout will support productivity and the smooth flow of
activities within the workspace, as well as improve employee work effectiveness.
Objective: This study aims to analyze the role of office layout on work productivity
in the D3 Secretariat Study Program.
Method: This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. Data
were collected through interviews with relevant parties in the D3 Secretariat Study
Program, such as the Head of the Study Program, the Secretary of the Study
Program, and staff members of the Study Program.
Results: The office equipment available in the D3 Secretariat Study Program is
sufficient to support administration and academic activities. Lighting in the
workspace is adequate and supports staff comfort. However, limited ventilation
presents a significant barrier, and the limited movement space caused by the
suboptimal arrangement of furniture restricts staff movement and hinders effective
interaction among employees.
Conclusion: The office layout of the D3 Secretariat Study Program needs to be
reorganized. The cramped space and inefficient arrangement hinder the smooth
flow of work, communication, and the storage of documents. A better layout will
improve efficiency. | en_US |
