According to GBKP Research and Development (Litbang) data from 2023, the congregation’s attendance rate stands at 40%, while the absence rate reaches 60% (194,161 members). In the Medan region, attendance is recorded at 38.33%, whereas absence amounts to 61.67%. Congregational satisfaction refers to the perception of how well the church meets or exceeds the expectations of its members, which in turn influences attendance levels. This study examines the relationship between the ethical leadership of pastors and the interpersonal communication of elders and deacons with congregational satisfaction, employing a quantitative correlational approach. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires based on the Likert scale, utilizing three measurement instruments, congregational satisfaction scale (Silverman et al., 1983), ethical leadership scale (Brown, 2005), interpersonal communication scale (Devito, 1986). The study involved 325 GBKP congregation members in Medan, selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that both ethical leadership and interpersonal communication have a positive and significant impact on congregational satisfaction, both individually and collectively, with a coefficient value of 0.522.en_US
