The aim of this study is to examine the utilization of the children’s collection at the Library of the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia, North Sumatra Province. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation and interviews, as well as calculations based on the theoretical framework applied by the researcher. The results indicate that the level of collection utilization increased from 2021 to 2023, as evidenced by the use factor calculations: in 2021, the use factor was 0.35, in 2022 it rose to 0.96, and in 2023 it reached 0.94. Despite this increase, the borrowing rate of children's collections remains low, with less than one item borrowed per year on average. The percentage of expected use in 2021 was only 35%, increasing to 96% in 2022 and slightly decreasing to 94% in 2023. These figures suggest that some items in the collection were not used at all throughout the year. User visit and borrowing intensity were also low, with months during which no visits to the library were recorded. It can be concluded that although there has been an increase in the utilization of the children's collection at the Special Library of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office, the usage remains suboptimal and requires further improvement.en_US
