Research on the food habits of rabbitfish (Siganus javus) in Pangkalan Susu District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatera Province was conducted in JuneAugust 2024. The number of fish samples obtained during the study was 182 fish consisting of 133 male fish and 49 female fish, the total length of the observed fish was 86-237 mm. The growth pattern of male baronang fish is negative allometric (length growth is faster than weight growth) and the growth pattern of female baronang fish is isometric (length growth is equal to weight growth). Condition factor values ranged from 0.257-1.721 so that the fish were classified as less flattened, the sex ratio of the fish was in an unbalanced condition, the level of gonad maturity was at TKG 1– TKG 3.
