Designing Paradiso Healing Centre in Deli Serdang with Healing Environment Approach

Abstract

The rapid urbanization in North Sumatra, has brought significant changes to urban life, including increased pollution, congestion, and social pressure. These factors have contributed to rising stress levels and a decline in psychological well-being.This thesis proposes a Healing Center designed with a healing environment approach that incorporates nature, sensory elements, and psychological comfort, to restore mental well-being and provide an escape from the stresses of urban life. The chosen site is in Savanna Sumatra, Deli Serdang, that offers a natural landscape aligned with the project's goal to emphasize connectivity between architecture and nature.
