As time goes by, malls no longer function solely as shopping destinations, but also as recreation and entertainment venues, as well as open spaces for social interaction. However, most malls are currently enclosed, failing to meet the public's need for safe and comfortable open spaces. Therefore, when constructing a mall, it is necessary to consider the design approach applied to address these issues, one of which is a tropical architectural approach. The location of this lifestyle mall design is in the Savanna Sumatera Deli Serdang development, located in a tropical area. The mall is designed in accordance with tropical architectural principles, with green open spaces, the use of a secondary skin, and the application of natural lighting that provides a comfortable and safe impression to visitors.en_US
