Perancangan Website Pembelajaran dan Latihan Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia (Bisindo) Dialek Jakarta Berbasis Web Interaktif

Abstract

Background: Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO) is a visual language used by the Deaf community in Indonesia. Unfortunately, many people are still unfamiliar with BISINDO. Objective: This project aims to develop an interactive BISINDO learning website focused on the Jakarta dialect, which is easily accessible to the general public. Method: The website was developed using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Its main features include learning materials in GIF format and interactive quizzes across five categories: Alphabet, Introduction, Colors, Question Words, and Verbs. Each quiz includes a scoring system and automatic score storage in the database. Results: The website successfully displays educational content and interactive quizzes that are accessible after login. A responsive design and simple navigation enhance the overall user experience. Conclusion: This website serves as an effective tool for introducing BISINDO to a wider audience and encouraging understanding and empathy toward the Deaf community.
