| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine income and income and determine the profitability of laying duck farming businesses in Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The research was carried out in Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency in September – October 2023. The type of data used in this research was primary data obtained from direct observation and interviews with breeders as well as secondary data obtained from related agencies such as literature, the Pantai Labu District office and Body. North Sumatra Statistics Center. Determining the sample using Total Sampling was obtained by 20 laying duck breeders. Data analysis is carried out by calculating production costs,income, income, profitability analysis and Break Even Point ratios. The results of the research show that the average income received by laying duck breeders in Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency from 2021 - 2023 in the small strata is IDR. 999.654.011, in the medium strata it is IDR. 3.113.005.806 and the income received on large strata farms is Rp. 7.150.759.003. The income received by farmers can cover livestock production costs so that they are able to generate profits with a profitability value in the small strata of 1,22˃0, in the medium stratum of 1,81 ˃ 0 and in the large strata a profitability value of 2,28 ˃ 0. The resulting BEP price and production BEP value is the price BEP at small level of IDR. 77.436.437/year, in the middle strata of IDR. 125.002.314/year and in the large strata of IDR. 155.618.869/year. BEP production has a small strata of 260.873 grains, a medium strata of 559.235 grains and a large strata of 1.042.274 grain.
