Ijime is a serious problem in the world of education because it can have a negative impact on the psychological condition and development of students. The purpose of this paper is to determine the forms of ijime, the factors that cause it, and the solutions to handling it carried out by schools and the Japanese government. This paper uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through document analysis and literature studies. The results of the paper show that ijime often occurs in various forms, both physically, verbally, and socially. The factors that cause it include social pressure, group culture, and lack of supervision. Although there are already policies for handling it from the government, its implementation still needs to be improved.
