Abstract

Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric lining, also known as the gastric mucosa, which is the layer that lines the inner layer (submucosa, muscular, and serosa) of the stomach, and which is further covered by another layer that protects it from irritating substances such as stomach acid and pepsin. Nursing care was carried out on May 28-June 18 to two families with gastritis by helping families get to know family health problems by providing health education about gastritis, warm compresses, gastritis diet, educating families in making decisions, caring for families by teaching warm compresses, modifying the environment, and assisting families in utilizing health facilities. As a result of the intervention carried out, the family is able to get to know health problems, The family is able to do warm compresses, the gastritis diet, the family is able to make decisions about the right health measures, the family is able to take care of sick family members, the family is able to modify the environment, and the family is able to take advantage of health service facilities
