Azolla is one of the breakthroughs in feed ingredients used as an
alternative feed for poultry. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect
of adding Azolla michrophylla fermented with Aspergillus niger on the
performance of hybrid ducks. The design used in this study was a Completely
Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments
were as follows: R0 (control), R1: 5% without fermentation, R2: 5% fermented,
R3: 10%, R4: 15%, R5: 20%. The parameters measured in this study were feed
consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. The results showed that the
addition of Azolla michrophylla fermented with Aspergillus niger did not have a
significant effect (P>0.05) on feed consumption, with means ranging from 573.35
g/head/week for R0 to 585.21 g/head/week for R5; body weight gain, with means
of 164.64 g/head/week for R0 and 196.23 g/head/week for R5; and feed
conversion, with means of 4.20 for R0 and 3.63 for R5. The conclusion from the
results of this study does not improve the performance of hybrid ducks
