Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria mycobacterium tuberculosis, where transmission occurs when the sufferer speaks, sneezes or coughs which indirectly the sufferer releases phlegm droplets into the air. In 2022, 1329 people were recorded as positive for pulmonary TB at the Medan Johor Health Center. Transmission of mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria can be done with environmental sanitation through the Florence Nightingale theory approach (modern nursing) which assesses the physical, psychological and social environment of the client. The purpose of writing this report is to provide nursing care to patients infected with pulmonary tuberculosis at the Medan Johor Health Center. The results of the assessment were obtained by Mr. K with the main complaint of coughing up blood in the middle of the 4th month, then started taking OAT drugs at the beginning of the 5th month and the arrangement for the use of home facilities was still with the family. The nursing diagnosis is a knowledge deficit and the risk of infection transmission. The nursing action plan that has been prepared has been implemented and the nursing evaluation of the nursing diagnosis has been partially resolved. Nurses are expected to further improve nursing care services with environmental sanitation through the Florence Nightingale theory approach (modern nursing) for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis to improve the quality of service and the health status of patients.en_US
