Analisis Rantai Pasok Ayam KUB (Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan) di Kecamatan Galang Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

This research aims to determine the supply chain of KUB chicken, marketing margin, farmer's share, and marketing efficiency in each KUB chicken supply chain in Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency. The number of respondents is 15 people consisting of farmers, agents, and retail traders. The method used is descriptive analysis. The research results indicate that there are 3 forms of chicken supply chain flows in Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency, namely 1) farmers - consumers, 2) farmers - retail traders - consumers, 3) farmers - agents - retail traders - consumers. The total marketing margin is largest in patterns II and III, amounting to Rp28,808/kg live weight, while the smallest is in pattern I at Rp18,808/kg live weight. The highest farmer's share is in pattern I at 100%, while in patterns II and III it is 75%. The level of marketing efficiency for farmers is considered inefficient, while for agents and retail traders it is deemed efficient.
