dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the effect of corn cob charcoal as a mixture of planting media on the nutritional content of Odot grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Cv. Mott). The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 charcoal dose treatments (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) and 4 replications. The parameters measured included crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, and ash content. The results showed that charcoal administration had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on the content of crude protein, crude fat, ash content and crude fiber. The best results were found in treatment P2 with a charcoal dose of 10%. This study shows that corn cob charcoal increases the content of crude protein, crude fat and ash content and decreases the crude fiber of Odot Grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Cv. Mott)en_US
