Pengaruh Pemberian Arang Bonggol Jagung Sebagai Campuran Media Tanam Terhadap Kandungan Nutrisi pada Rumput Odot (Pennisetum Purpureum CV. mott)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of corn cob charcoal as a mixture of planting media on the nutritional content of Odot grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Cv. Mott). The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 charcoal dose treatments (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) and 4 replications. The parameters measured included crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, and ash content. The results showed that charcoal administration had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on the content of crude protein, crude fat, ash content and crude fiber. The best results were found in treatment P2 with a charcoal dose of 10%. This study shows that corn cob charcoal increases the content of crude protein, crude fat and ash content and decreases the crude fiber of Odot Grass (Pennisetum Purpureum Cv. Mott)
