| dc.description.abstract | A Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) has been carried out at the Pharmaceutical Wholesaler (PBF) PT. Penta Valent Medan Branch from September 02 to September 27, 2024 with working hours from 08.00-16.30 on Monday to Friday. This PKPA was carried out with the aim that prospective Pharmacists can understand the role, function and responsibilities of Pharmacists as Responsible Pharmacists (APJ) at PBF, namely implementing and supervising drug management activities consisting of procurement, receipt and distribution of drugs in accordance with the Good Drug Distribution Practices (CDOB) guidelines so that the quality of drugs is maintained until they reach consumers and avoid the circulation of counterfeit products. PKPA Activities at PT. Penta Valent Medan Branch includes understanding the functions and duties of PBF as a pharmaceutical distributor, understanding the role of pharmacists in supporting health services at PBF, knowing the role of pharmacists in managing pharmaceutical supplies starting from selection, planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, withdrawal and destruction, control and administration at PBF, checking outgoing goods, reviewing stock cards, reporting and temperature mapping. | en_US |
