| dc.description.abstract | Objective: Professional Pharmacy Practice (PKPA) at Pharmaceutical
Wholesalers (PBF) for students of the Pharmacy Education Study Program is
carried out to improve prospective pharmacists' understanding of the roles,
functions, and responsibilities of pharmacists at PBF, equipping prospective
pharmacists with the insight, knowledge, skills, and practical experience to
perform pharmaceutical work at PBF.
Date of Implementation: PKPA activities at PBF PT. Antarmitra Sembada Medan
Branch will be held from September 2 to 27, 2024, every Monday to Friday from 8:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
PKPA Activities: The implementation of PKPA at PBF includes understanding
the functions and duties of PBF as a means of distributing pharmaceutical
preparations, understanding the role of pharmacists in supporting health services
at
PBF, knowing the role of pharmacists in managing pharmaceutical
preparations, medical devices, and consumables from the planning, procurement,
receipt, storage, pest control, distribution, destruction, recording, and reporting.
In addition, administration at the PBF, checking incoming and outgoing goods,
reporting on over-the-counter drugs, restricted drugs, controlled drugs,
psychotropic drugs, precursors, certain drugs, handling cold chain products
(CCP), and mapping temperatures based on CDOB regulations. | en_US |
