dc.description.abstractTertiary irrigation channels in the Namorambe Irrigation Network, Namorambe Village are mostly still land channels, where vegetation still grows in the channels. Vegetation itself can affect several things, such as channel flow speed and channel roughness coefficient. This study aims to determine the Manning and Chezy roughness constant values in three vegetated channels in Namorambe Village with conditions before and after vegetation was pruned. The results of this study on the three channels for conditions before vegetation was pruned, the Manning roughness coefficient values were 0.34; 0.54; and 0.65 respectively; and for Chezy roughness constant values were 1.92; 1.25; and 1.04 respectively. For conditions after vegetation was pruned, the Manning roughness coefficient values were 0.35; 0.50; and 0.61 respectively; and for Chezy roughness constant values were 2.16; 1.35; and 1.11.en_US
