| dc.description.abstract | Objective: Pharmacist Professional Internship in Hospitals for students of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program aims to improve the understanding of prospective pharmacists about the roles, functions, and responsibilities of pharmacists in hospitals, equipping prospective pharmacists with insight, knowledge, skills and practical experience to carry out pharmaceutical services in hospitals.
Implementation Date: The Pharmacist Professional Internship (PKPA) activity was held on January 7 – February 28, 2024 at the H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital, located at Jalan Bunga Lau, No. 17, Kemenangan Tani Village, Medan Tuntungan District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province.
PKPA Activities: The PKPA activities carried out at the H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital included training from the Pharmacy Unit to provide a basic understanding of pharmaceutical services in hospitals, specifically in the implementation of Minister of Health Regulation No. 72 of 2016 concerning pharmaceutical services in hospitals. The activities were carried out in a practical manner by dividing the schedule at each pharmacy depot and assigning the task of monitoring inpatients periodically in accordance with applicable guidelines. | en_US |
