    Abstract
    Community Pharmacy/Pharmacy Professional Internship Report at Queensha Pharma Deli Serdang ABSTRAC Background: Pharmacists play a crucial role in carrying out the managerial functions of pharmacies and clinical pharmacy services. Pharmacists are required to improve their knowledge, skills, and communication skills with patients to provide excellent service. Given the importance of a pharmacist's duties and functions in a community health center (Puskesmas), prospective pharmacists need to be equipped through the Pharmacist Professional Internship (PKPA). Objective: The objective of PKPA in Pharmacy is to increase the understanding of prospective pharmacists regarding the role, function, position and responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmaceutical services in Pharmacy. Method: Pharmacist Professional Internship Activities at the Pharmacy were carried out on May 6, 2024 to June 6, 2024, which were carried out on Monday to Saturday, divided into two shifts, namely shift 1 at 09.00-17.00 WIB and shift 2 at 13.00-21.00 WIB at the Queensha Pharma Pharmacy located on Jalan Besar Delitua Km. 9.5 No. 8B, Kedai Durian Village, Deli Serdang Regency. Summary: The roles and functions of pharmacists include reviewing medication planning and ordering procedures, receiving and storing medications, completing stock cards, compiling invoices and prescriptions, and recording prescription and self-medication services. They also learn about the pharmacy's medication ordering system, which takes into account prescription and non-prescription medications, dosage forms, therapeutic classes, and alphabetical order. The dispensing process is based on the FEFO (First Expired First Out) and FIFO (First In First Out) systems. They also learn about the medication items in the pharmacy and their indications, record pharmaceutical supplies and expiration dates, and procedures for ordering and receiving items from the pharmacy pharmacy.
