| dc.description.abstract | The savings and loan cooperative (KOPERASI SIMPAN PINJAM) of SMA Negeri 1
Lintongnihuta plays an important role in supporting financial services in the school
environment. This research aims to investigate the implementation of digital
technology innovation in improving the efficiency and quality of financial services
provided by the cooperative. The research method used is a case study, with a focus
on analyzing the implementation strategy of digital technology in the operations of
KOPERASI SIMPAN PINJAM SMA Negeri 1 Lintongnihuta. Data were collected
through interviews, observations, and analysis of documentation related to
cooperative activities. The results showed that the implementation of digital
technology innovation has had a significant impact on the financial services provided
by KOPERASI SIMPAN PINJAM SMA Negeri 1 Lintongnihuta. The use of digital
banking applications for the management of savings and loan transactions has
improved process efficiency, reduced administration time, and minimized the risk of
manual errors. In addition, the integration of digital technology also expands the
accessibility of financial services for cooperative members, especially in terms of
balance monitoring, installment payments, and online loan applications. This provides
ease and convenience for members in managing their finances more effectively.
Nonetheless, challenges faced in the implementation of digital technology at
KOPERASI SIMPAN PINJAM SMA Negeri 1 Lintongnihuta include the lack of
adequate technological infrastructure, varying levels of digital literacy among
