This study aims to utilize used oil as an alternative fuel to replace LPG gas and evaluate its combustion effectiveness in producing heat energy to heat water. Used oil is a liquid waste from motor vehicles that has the potential to pollute the environment if not managed properly. In this study, a waste oil-fueled stove equipped with a blower and an Arduino-based control system was designed. Experiments were conducted with variations in waste oil mass ranging from 100 grams to 1000 grams to heat 2 liters of water. The results showed that the more oil mass burned, the greater the heat energy produced. When burning 100 grams of oil, the average heat energy absorbed by water was 103.5 kJ in 6.1 minutes. Meanwhile, when burning 1000 grams of oil, the heat energy increased to 605.7 kJ in 24.1 minutes. This study concludes that used oil has the potential to be an economical and environmentally friendly alternative energy source, as well as reducing oil waste and dependence on fossil fuels. However, heat transfer efficiency is still influenced by environmental factors and equipment design, requiring further optimization.en_US
