Background. Hemorrhagic stroke is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, occurring due to the rupture of cerebral blood vessels that results in intracerebral bleeding. High blood pressure is recognized as a major risk factor, however, the relationship between high blood pressure and hemorrhage volume is still inconsistent, thus requiring further investigation. Aim. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between blood pressure and intracerebral hemorrhage volume in patients with hemorrhagic stroke at RSU Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Medan. Methods. This research used an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach involving 46 patients with hemorrhagic stroke during the period January-December 2024. Data were obtained from medical records, including blood pressure at hospital admission and hemorrhage volume based on head CT-scan results. The relationship between variables was analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results. The results showed no significant relationship between blood pressure and intracerebral hemorrhage volume (p=0.540). Most patients were late elderly (56-65 years) (41.3%), male (54.3%), had type I obesity (37.0%), and did not have diabetes mellitus (89.1%). Conclusion. There was no significant association between blood pressure and intracerebral hemorrhage volume among patients with hemorrhagic stroke.en_US
