The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) requires competent and productive human resources to support organizational performance. However, BPS Deli Serdang Regency still faces obstacles, particularly the suboptimal achievement of superior human resources indicators and technical obstacles in the field that affect employee productivity. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, competence, and flexible working space (FWS) on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with the research population being all ASN BPS Deli Serdang Regency, with a sample of 40 people working in flexible working space (FWS). Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results show that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on performance, both directly and through job satisfaction. Competence has a significant effect on job satisfaction, but not on performance. Flexible working space (FWS) has a positive effect on job satisfaction, but not significantly on performance. Job satisfaction has been shown to be an important mediator, so strengthening self-efficacy and providing a flexible work environment need to be optimized to improve employee performance. This finding confirms the important role of job satisfaction as a mediating mechanism in improving employee performance, as well as the need to strengthen self-efficacy aspects and provide a flexible work environment as a strategic effort in human resource management in government agencies.en_US
