The level of author collaboration is the number of collaborations between two or more authors in a publication which can have an effect on citation counts. The purpose of this research is to identify the correlation between the level of author collaboration and citation counts in Journal of Ners in 2019-2024. This research used a quantitative research method with an associative correlational research design. Data were collected through observation and documentation techniques loaded in the SINTA database. The population in this research amounted to 316 articles published in the period of 2019-2024. The sampling technique in this research used total sampling. The results of the research showed that the level of author collaboration in Journal of Ners in 2019-2024 was 0.95, showing that articles written collaboratively were more than individual authors. The correlation between author collaboration and citation counts based on Spearman’s rho rank order correlation in volume 14 in 2019 amounted to 0.015 which according to the Guidford scale the correlation was very low, volume 15 in 2020 amounted to 0.11 which according to the Guidford scale the correlation was very low, volume 16 in 2021 amounted to 0.34 which according to the Guidford scale the correlation was low but definite, volume 17 in 2022 amounted to 0.35 which according to the Guidford scale the correlation was low but definite, volume 18 in 2023 amounted to 0.022 which according to the Guidford scale the correlation was very low and volume 19 in 2024 amounted to 0.182 which according to the Guidford scale the correlation was very low. Based on the hypothesis test, in volume 16 in 2021 there was a correlation between author collaboration and citation counts while in other volumes there was no correlation.en_US
