    Abstract
    The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the amount of consumption of native chicken meat in Langkat Regency. The study was conducted in July - August 2018. The method used in sampling was the proportionate stratified random sampling method and used the Slovin formula. Primary data collection was carried out by interview techniques using questionnaires to respondents and secondary data collection was obtained from the agencies and agencies assembled and then analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS 22 application tools. The results showed the amount of consumption of native chicken meat in Langkat Regency was influenced simultaneously by income, the price of chicken meat, the number of dependents, the price of substitution commodities and the perception of the community with R² = 0.61. Partially income and the number of dependents affect the amount of consumption of chicken meat in Langkat District.
     
    Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi jumlah konsumsi daging ayam kampung di Kabupaten Langkat.Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli - Agustus 2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah metode proportionate stratified random sampling dan menggunakan rumus slovin. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara menggunakan kuisioner kepada responden dan pengumpulan data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi dan dinas terakit kemudian di analisis dengan Regresi Linear Berganda menggunakan alat aplikasi SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah konsumsi daging ayam kampung di Kabupaten Langkat dipengaruhi secara serempak oleh pendapatan, harga daging ayam kampung, jumlah tanggungan, harga komoditi subtitusi dan persepsi masyarakat dengan R²=0,61. Secara parsial pendapatan dan jumlah tanggungan mempengaruhi jumlah konsumsi daging ayam kampung di Kabupaten Langkat.
