    Abstract
    This study aims to analyze the statistical quality control on the production process of elephant ear weight packaging in Pematangsiantar. In this research the analytical method used is Statistical Quality Control, which is a statistical method used to measure the extent to which the quality control process performed on a company, where the results are compared with the standards applied by the company. The results of this study discusses the application of quality control in the production process of elephant eyebrow weight production in 2018 is still within the control limits or in conditions of statistical control shown by the points in the Average Control Chart (X), The Range (R) Control Diagram and the Standard Device Control Diagram (S) located within the control limits with Upper Control Limit and Lower Control Limit are capable of controlling the rate of loss on each elephant's ear packaging weight. The conclusion of this research which is conducted at the Elephant Growing Business Gajah Ridho Abdullah in general is the implementation of quality control in Business Growing Elephant Gajah Ridho Abdullah so that the weight of the packaging is not beyond the control limit.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas statistik pada proses produksi berat kemasan kuping gajah di Pematangsiantar. Pada penelitian ini metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Statistical Quality Control, yaitu sebuah metode statistik yang digunakan untuk mengukur sejauh mana proses pengendalian kualitas yang dilakukan pada suatu perusahaan, dimana hasilnya dibandingkan dengan standar yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini membahas mengenai penerapan pengendalian kualitas (Statistical Quality Control) pada proses produksi berat kemasan kuping gajah pada tahun 2018 masih berada dalam batas kontrol atau dalam kondisi in statistical control yang ditunjukan oleh titik-titik dalam Diagram Kontrol Rata-Rata (X), Diagram Kontrol Range (R) dan Diagram Kontrol Standar Devasi (S) yang berada didalam batas kontrol dengan Batas Kontrol Atas dan Batas Kontrol Bawah yang mampu mengendalikan tingkat kerugian pada setiap berat kemasan kuping gajah tersebut. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yang dilakukan di Usaha Dagang Kuping Gajah Ridho Abdullah supaya berat kemasan tersebut tidak berada diluar batas kontrol.
