A Description of Conflict in JojoMoyes’ Novel Me Before You

Abstract

This Paper is entitled "A Description of Conlict in Jojo Moyes' Novel Me Before You. The discussion in this paper focuses on the description of the types of conflicts found in the two figures in the novel written by Jojo Moyes. The author collects and selects quotations from the novel which are in accordance with the types of conflicts, namely internal conflicts and external conflicts. The problem that will be raised in this paper is a description of the conflicts that occurred in the main character in a novel entitled Me Before You written by Jojo Moyes. With this description, there will be conflicts like what is experienced by the main characters in this novel based on the conflict theory of Robert and Jacobs.

Skripsi ini berjudul “A Description of Conlict in Jojo Moyes’ Novel Me Before You. Pembahasan pada paper ini difokuskan pada deskripsi mengenai jenis-jenis konflik yang terdapat pada kedua tokoh yang ada pada novel yang ditulis oleh Jojo Moyes. Penulis mengumpulkan dan menyeleksi kutipan-kutipan yang berasal dari novel tersebut yang mana sesuai dengan jenis-jenis konflik yaitu konflik internal dan konflik eksternal. Permasalahan yang akan diangkat dalam paper ini adalah deskripsi mengenai konflik-konflik yang terjadi pada tokoh utama dalam novel berjudul Me Before You yang ditulis oleh Jojo Moyes. Dengan deskripsi tersebut maka akan terlihat konflik-konflik seperti apa saja yang dialami oleh para tokoh utama dalam novel ini berdasarkan teori konflik Robert and Jacobs.
