A Description of The Main Characters in Mario Fuzo’s Novel The Sicilian

Abstract

The novel is a work of fiction long literary usually form of stories. The paper is tittled “ A Description of Main Character in Mario Puzo’s Novel The Sicilan. The author interested in choosing this title because in this novel there is a young character, brave, although too many ferocity and coming of treason that must be passed. This novel tells about ferocity and coming the treasone in the small villages in Montelepre, that is Sicily with the background proverty and unindependent that they must passed. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, that explaining data type of library research.

Novel adalah sebuah karya fiksi prosa yang panjang biasannya membentuk cerita.Kertas karya ini berjudul “ A Description of Main Character in Mario Puzo’s Novel The Sicilian.Penulis tertarik memilih judul ini karena didalam novel ini terdapat karakter yang sangat kuat, pemberani meskipun terlalu banyak kekejaman dan penghianatan yang harus dilalui. Novel tersebut menceritakan tentang kekejaman dan penghianatan di suatu desa di Montelepre yaitu Sicily, dengan latar belakang kemiskinan dan ketidakmerdekaan yang mereka alami. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu menjelaskan data dan jenis penelitian perpustakaan dengan menggunakan buku-buku literatur.
