    Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Material Elektromagnetik Berbasis Komposit BaFe12O19/ZnO Terhadap Variasi Penambahan Komposisi Zinc Oxide Sebagai Penyerap Gelombang Microwave

    Abstract
    BaFe12-2xNixCoxO19 has been synthetized by co-presipitation method. The pollen of BaCl2, FeCl3, NiCl2 and CoCl2 were mixed and precipitated by using of NaOH 1M. The effect of %mol dopan and calcination temperature on the structure, morphology and magnetic characteristic was characterisized by using XRD, SEM, and VSM. The result of XRD analysis showed that dominant sample has majority peak with the main structure BaFe12O19 but for the other sample there was a forming of minority peak of barium monoferit as impurities. The angle movement observed from (114) showed that the peak of 2θ move to the bigger angle. So that it was improving the lattice parameter value. The temperature given influenced the structure BaFe12-2xNixCoxO19 which was not calcined structure as amorf and still paramagnetic, while other which calcined on the temperature of 750oC and 950oC structured became BaFe12O19. The data of VSM showed that the pure sample have the highest coercive value and decreasing as the adding %mol dopan. The variation of calcination temperature also causing the changed of magnetization value. The sample using calcination temperature 950oC has the smallest magnetization value. The adding of Co2+ and Ni2+ gave influence to morphology result.
     
    Pembuatan komposit BaFe12O19/ZnO telah dilakukan dengan metode Wet Milling dengan media toluene. Barium M-Ferrit sebagai matriks dan Zinc Oxide sebagai filler yang digunakan sebagai bahan baku utama untuk pembuatan komposit. Proses milling Barium M-Ferrit dilakukan selama 12 jam menggunakan High Energi Milling (HEM). Selanjutnya proses kalsinasi menggunakan furnace pada suhu 900 °C selama 4 jam. Sedangkan Zinc Oxide dimilling selama 3 jam dan dikalsinasi dengan suhu 500 oC selama 3 jam. Hasil miling Barium M-Ferrit dan zinc Oxide dicampur menggunakan wet milling media touluene selama 15 menit dan dikeringkan selama 1 jam dengan suhu 200 oC. Karakterisasi XRD (x-ray diffraction) menggunakan analisa macth menunjukkan BaFe12O19 sebagai matriks dan ZnO sebagai filler terbentuk struktur kristal hexagonal dan puncak menunjukkan single fase, dimana masing-masing parameter kisi BaFe12O19 a = 5.8930 Å, c = 23.1940 Å dan ZnO parameter kisinya a = 3.2533 Å, c = 5.2073 Å. Karakterisasi VSM (Vibrating Sample Magnetometer) didapatkan nilai sifat magnet Serbuk BaFe12O19 (matriks) didapatkan (Ms) magnet saturasi 54.03 emu/g, (Mr) magnet remanen 33.06 emu/g, (Hcj) koersivitas 2943 Oe dan (BHmax) energi produk 190 kGOe dan Zinc Oxide sebagai filler didapatkan nilai (Ms) magnet saturasi 7.84 emu/g, (Mr) magnet remanen 1.27 emu/g, (Hcj) koersivitas 152.4 Oe dan (BHmax) energi produk 10 kGOe. Hasil analisis XRD (x-ray diffraction) pada komposit penambahan massa ZnO 50% menggunakan software match memilki dua fasa yaitu adanya fasa ZnO dan BaFe12O19 yang menunjukkan bahwa struktur heterogen dengan struktur kristal hexagonal. Didapatkan sifat magnetik komposit penambahan massa ZnO 50% adalah (Mr) magnet remanen 39.40 emu/g, koersifitas 2728 Oe, (BHmax) energi produk 110 kGOe dan untuk komposit penambahan massa ZnO 75% remanen 39.36 emu/g dengan koersifitas 1365 Oe dan (BHmax) energi produk 60 kGOe.
