Hubungan Pesan Gambar pada Kemasan Rokok Terhadap Perilaku Merokok Kepala Keluarga di Dusun Kesehatan Desa Tanoh Anou Kecamatan Idi Rayeuk Kabupaten Aceh Timur Tahun 2015

Abstract

Jumlah perokok di berbagai negara di Dunia ternyata mengalami peningkatan terutama di Indonesia setiap tahunnya terus meningkat pesat melebihi laju pertambahan penduduk. Pada tahun 2010 diketahui bahwa prevalensi perokok di Indonesia sebesar 34,2% dan semakin meningkat pada tahun 2013 menjadi 36,3%. Provinsi aceh memiliki prevalensi 25% perokok setiap hari dengan batang rokok dihisap sebanyak 15,3 batang rokok per hari menjadikan Provinsi Aceh tertinggi konsumsi rokok per hari di Indonesia. Untk mengatasi perilaku merokok diterapkan kebijakan kesehatan berbentuk gambar di bungkus rokok di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pesan gambar pada kemasan rokok terhadap perilaku merokok kepala keluarga di Dusun Kesehatan Desa Tanoh Anou Kecamatan Idi Rayeuk Kabupaten Aceh Timur Tahun 2015. Penelitian ini adalah anlitik dengan desain cross sectional dengan melakukan pengukuran atau pengamatan pada saat bersamaan (sekali waktu) antara resiko/paparan. Populasi adalah seluruh kepala keluarga/suami yang merupakan perokok yaitu berjumlah 390 kk di Dusun Kesehatan Kecamatan Idi Rayeuk Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling sebanyak 80 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan pesan gambar pada kemasan terhadap pengetahuan (p= 0,002) dengan OR sebesar 4,53 dan sikap (p= 0,005) dengan OR sebesar 3,86 dan tidak ada hubungan pesan gambar pada kemasan dengan tindakan merokok kepala keluarga di Dusun Kesehatan Desa Tanoh Anou Kecamatan Idi Rayeuk Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Saran peneliti untuk membuat pesan gambar bahaya merokok pada kemasan dengan gambar yang lebih nyata agar menimbulkan efek takut dalam mengkonsumsi rokok.

The number of smokers in many countries in the world, in fact, improves. In Indonesia, especially, the number keeps on improving fast and outnumbers the population growth. It was found out that prevalence of smokers in Indonesia was 34.4% in 2010 and it reached to 36.3% in 2013. Aceh Province has 25% prevalence of smokers with 15.3 pieces of cigarettes smoked per day which makes Aceh Province the highest rate of cigarette consuming in Indonesia. To overcome the smoking behavior, the health policy in the form of pictures on the cigarette packs, is implemented in Indonesia. The research objective is to find out the correlation of picture messages on cigarette packswith the smoking behavior of families at Dusun Kesehatan Desa Tanoh Anou, Idi Rayeuk Subdistrict, Aceh Timur District, in 2015. This research is analytical with cross sectional design by measuring or observing simultaneously on the risk/exposure. The population is all families/husbands who smoke with total 390 at Dusun Kesehatan Desa Tanoh Anou, Idi Rayeuk subdistrict, Aceh Timur District. The sample is 80 families/husbands taken by using random sampling technique. The research result shows that there is a correlation between picture messages on the packs with the knowledge (p=0.002); OR 4.53 and attitude (p=0.005); OR 3.86. There is no correlation between picture messages on the packs with the smoking behavior of families/husbands in Dusun Kesehatan Desa Tanoh Anou, Idi Rayeuk Subdistrict, Aceh Timur District. It is suggested that the dangers of picture messages on the packs with more real pictures be made so that they cause scaring effects to the smokers to consume cigarettes.
