dc.description.abstractThe sweet potato is one of the staple food for a certain residents in Indonesia. This research was carried out on the plantation area Suka Raya village, Pancur Batu, Deli Serdang district with an altitude 35 meters above sea level, starting in July to December 2018. The Randomized Block Design was used with 1 factor i.e.: genotype of Parbuluan village, genotype of Simalopuk village (yellow), genotype of the Simalopuk village (purple), genotype of the Sitinjo village, genotype of Tanjung Beringin village, genotype of Binjai Tanah Seribu, and the control variety Sari. The parameters observed were: the length increased of the plant, the number of tubers per sample, the length of the tubers per sample, the tuber weight per sample, the plant fresh weight, the average weight of the tuber. The results showed that the genotype of Tanjung Beringin showed the best adaptation (the highest plant fresh weight,, the highest tuber weight per sample and the highest average tuber weight).en_US
dc.description.abstractUbi jalar merupakan salah satu makanan pokok bagi sekelompok penduduk Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan masyarakat desa Suka Raya, kecamatan Pancur Batu, kabupaten Deli Serdang dengan ketinggian tempat 35 meter di atas permukaan laut, mulai bulan Juli 2018 sampai Desember 2018. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 1 faktor perlakuan yaitu: genotipe desa Parbuluan I, genotipe desa Simalopuk (kuning), genotipe desa Simalopuk (ungu), genotipe desa Sitinjo, genotipe desa Tanjung Beringin, genotipe lokal Binjai Tanah Seribu, dan varietas pembanding Sari. Parameter yang diamati adalah: pertambahan panjang tanaman, jumlah umbi per sampel, panjang umbi per sampel, bobot umbi per sampel, bobot basah tanaman, rataan bobot umbi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan genotipe desa Tanjung Beringin memiliki daya adaptasi yang baik (bobot basah tanaman tertinggi, bobot umbi per sampel tertinggi, rataan bobot umbi tertinggi).en_US
