    Abstract
    Analisa udara ambient (H2S, NO2, NH3, SO2) di Balai Teknik Kesehatan Lingkungan Pengendalian Penyakit (BTKL PP) kelas 1 Medan bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar H2S, NO2, NH3 dan SO2 pada udara ambient di sekitar halaman BTKL PP. Udara masuk kedalam impinger melalui botol penjerap yang masing-masing telah berisikan larutan penjerap sebanyak 10 mL. Dicatat laju alir awal F1 dan F2 lalu didiamkan selama 20 menit untuk menghilangkan pengganggu. Kemudian larutan hasil uji dimasukkan kedalam kuvet untuk dianalisa secara spektrofotometri. Hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh dari analisa udara ambient dengan parameter SO2 = 26,58μg/Nm3,NO2 = 0,556 μg/Nm3, H2S = 13,608μg/Nm3 dan NH3= 0,127μg/Nm3. Dimana persyaratan menurut Peraturan Pemerintah Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 1997 tentang Pengendalian Pencemaran Udara dinyatakan aman dan memenuhi persyaratan untuk kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan.
     
    Analysis of ambient air (H2S, NO2, NH3, SO2) at Balai Teknik Kesehatan Lingkungan Pengendalian Penyakit (BTKL PP) Class I Medan is to know the pecentage of H2S, NO2, NH3 and SO2at the air around BTKL PP. The air is pumped into the impinger through absorbent bottle which each contains absorbent solution 10 mL. Make a note of the F1 and F2 air flow and wait until 20 minutes. Then put the liquid into a kuvet to be analyse by spectrophotometry. The result of the analysis of ambient air with SO2 absorbent is 26,58μg/Nm3,NO2 absorbent is 0,556 μg/Nm3, H2S absorbent is 13,608μg/Nm3 and NH3absorbent is 0,127μg/Nm3. Which is the requirements of Peraturan Pemerintah Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 1997 about Air Pollutan Control is declared that the air is safe and fulfill the requirements for human and the environments.
