Aliansi Gramatikal dalam Bahasa Aceh: Kajian Tipologi Sintaksis

Abstract

This research discusses about ―Grammatical Alliance of Acehness Language: Syntactic Typology Study‖. The aims of this research are to find out (1) types of complex sentence structures in Acehness language (Al) and (2) to describe the grammatical alliance system in (Al) .This research was conducted by qualitative descriptive method and the main theory of the research is taken from the theory of Van Vallin Jr, Lapolla (1999) and Dixon (1994). Complex sentence of Al consists of terraced compound sentence that shows the relationship of time, requirements, objectives, konsesif, causation, way and complementation . Syntactically this research came into the finding that Al could be categorized as accusative language that treats S (Subject) as the same as A (Agent), and different treatment is given to P (Patient) (S=A, ≠ P). Based on theoretical framework of pivot test, Al works with S in Al which shows that S is marked as the same as A and different treatment is given to P. Therefore, AL has the tendency as an accusative language.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menjelaskan tipe-tipe struktur kalimat kompleks dalam bahasa Aceh (bA) dan (2) mendeskripsikan sistem aliansi gramatikal bA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan memakai kerangka kerja teori Van Vallin Jr, Lapolla (1999) dan Dixon (1994). Kalimat kompleks bA terdiri atas kalimat majemuk bertingkat yang menunjukkan hubungan waktu , syarat , tujuan, konsesif, penyebaban, cara dan komplementasi . Secara sintaksis bA termasuk ke dalam kelompok bahasa akusatif yang memperlakukan subjek sama dengan agen, dan perlakuan berbeda untuk pasien (S=A, ≠ P) . Berdasarkan kerangka kerja uji pivot, bA bekerja dengan pivot S/A. Berdasarkan sistem aliansi gramatikal yang memperlakukan A sama dengan S dan memberikan perlakuan yang berbeda dengan P, bA dapat dikelompokkan sebagai bahasa yang bertipologi akusatif.
