    Pembuatan dan Karakterisasi Kawat Superkonduktor Monofilamen Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O dengan Tabung Ag dan Stainless Steel 316 Dopan MgO Menggunakan Metode PIT

    Abstract
    Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2-xMgOxCu3Oy (x = 0.00, 0.05) monofilament superconducting wires using Ag-sheated and Stainless Steel 316 to reach higher critical temperature (Tc) have been done. The sample were prepared using highly pure powders of Bismuth (III) Oxide, Lead (IV) Oxide, Strontium Carbonate, Calcium Carbonate, Copper (II) Oxide and Magnesium Oxide by Powder in Tube method. The weight of the powder was measured using stoichiometric calculation (x = 0.00, 0.05), the monofilament billet of 8 mm diameter to 6 mm diameter was rolling and sintered in furnance at constant temperature 8500C for t1 = 30 h and t2 = 9 h then cooled in furnace. The structure of the samples was studied by XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) of addition of MgO to the B(Pb,Mg)SCCO monofilament superconducting wires using Ag-sheated dopant MgO for t1 = 30 h and t2 = 9 h decrease in the volume fraction of 2223 with each volume fraction value of 60% to 40%. Show that the Orthorhombic structure with the lattice parameters are calculated a = 5,347 Å, b = 5,416 Å, and c = 30,67 Å. The surface morphology studied by SEM show that crack caused by rolling process on wires, sample homogeneity has been seen quite good, although the resultant grain melt and each grain grows in random directons. Value of % wt MgO is 0.15% with low concentration value and uniform distribution and value % wt Ag-sheated is. 24.77% with high concentration and unequally distributed. The resistivity analysis of sample, the addition of MgO using Ag-sheated sintering time I d = 6 mm for t= 30 h the onset Tc is at 72 K, and t = 9 h the onset Tc is at 78 K. For sintering time II for t = 30 h and t = 9 h of diameter each 4 mm does not show Tc,onset indicates that the superconducting phase is not formed and no phase transition In the addition of MgO monofilament superconducting wires BPSCCO and B (Pb,Mg) SCCO using sheathed Stainless Steel 316 XRD pattern graphic results are amorphous. The surface morphology studied by SEM, BPSCCO monofilament superconducting wires showed that the presence of crack and high porosity due to the rolling process on the wire. The resistivity analysis, BPSCCO and B (Pb,Mg)SCCO monofilament superconducting wires using sheated Stainless Steel 316 did not show Tc value, indicating of impurity phases and the material of the Stainless Steel 316
     
    Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai kawat monofilmen superkonduktor Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2-xMgOxCu3Oy (x = 0.00, 0.05) selubung Ag dan Stainless Steel 316 untuk mencapai suhu kritis (Tc) yang lebih tinggi. Bahan-bahan yang digunakan ialah Bismuth (III) Oksida, Timbal (IV) Oksida, Strontium Carbonate, Calcium Carbonate, Copper (II) Oksida dan Magnesium Oksida dengan tingkat kemurnian tinggi melalui metode Powder in Tube. Kemudian bahan tersebut ditimbang sesuai perhitungan stoikiometri (x = 0.00, 0.05), di rolling dengan diameter 8 mm ini hingga diameter 4 mm dan di sintering dalam furnance pada suhu konstan 8500C selama t1= 30 jam dan t2 = 9 jam lalu didinginkan dalam tungku. Penambahan MgO pada kawat monofilamen superkonduktor B(Pb,Mg)SCCO selubung Ag diperoleh berdasarkan pengujian XRD dengan t1= 30 jam dan t2 = 9 jam penurunan fraksi volume 2223 dari 60 % menjadi 40 %. Struktur kristal yang terbentuk ialah Orthorhombic dengan parameter kisi a =5,347 Å, b = 5,416 Å, dan c = 30,67 Å. Berdasarkan pengujian SEM pada sampel melalui analisis morfologi terlihat adanya crack disebabkan adanya proses rolling pada kawat, homogenitas sampel sudah terlihat cukup baik, walaupun butir yang dihasilkan mengalami pelelehan dan terdistribusi secara acak. Dengan nilai %wt dopan MgO sebesar 0,15% dengan nilai konsentrasi rendah dan persebaran merata dan %wt selubung Ag 24,77 % dengan konsentrasi tinggi dan terdistribusi tidak merata. Melalui analisis resistivitas, penambahan MgO pada selubung tabung Ag, perlakuan sintering I dengan diameter 6 mm untuk t = 30 jam diperoleh Tc,onset= 72 K, dan t = 9 jam Tc,onset = 78 K. Untuk Sintering II dengan t = 30 jam dan t = 9 jam diameter masing-masing 4 mm tidak menunjukkan Tc,onset hal ini menunjukkan bahwa fasa superkonduktor tidak terbentuk melainkan dengan kata lain tidak ada transisi fasa Pada penambahan MgO kawat monofilamen superkonduktor BPSCCO dan B(Pb,Mg)SCCO selubung stainless steel 316 hasil pola grafik XRD bersifat amorf. Berdasarkan analisis morfologi melalui pengujian SEM pada sampel kawat monofilamen BPSCCO menunjukkan adanya crack dan adanya porositas tinggi disebabkan adanya proses rolling pada kawat. Melalui analisis resistivitas, kawat monofilamen BPSCCO dan B(Pb,Mg)SCCO pada selubung tabung stainless steel 316 tidak menunjukkan nilai Tc,onset hal ini dikarenakan masih banyaknya fasa pengotor pada sampel,dan material penyusun tabung stainless stell 316 itu sendiri.
