    Abstract
    Rancang Bangun Alat Pendeteksi Kadar Formalin pada makanan dirancang untuk memudahkan pendeteksian kadar formalin yang terkandung pada makanan dalam satuan persen. Sistem ini berbasis mikrokontroler Atmega8535 dan menggunakan sensor tipe HCHO untuk mendeteksi kadar formalin. Perancangan sistem ini terdiri dari beberapa komponen yaitu sensor HCHO untuk mendeteksi kadar formalin, komponen relai sebagai pengendali saklar, mikrokontroler atmega8535 sebagai kendali utama pada sistem ini dan LCD sebagai penampil hasil keluaran sistem serta menggunakan adaptor 12V sebagai catu dayanya. Cara kerja sistem ini yaitu ketika alat dinyalakan, sampel akan dimasukkan kedalam wadah yang tersedia. Setelah makanan dimasukkan kedalam wadah, sensor HCHO akan mendeteksi kadar formalin dalam sampel dan menghasilkan tegangan output. Tegangan output masuk ke mikrokontroler untuk kemudian di konversi dari analog menjadi persentase dan di tampilkan ke LCD.
     
    The design of the Formalin Detection Apparatus in yellow noodle is designed to facilitate the detection of formalin content contained in foods in percent units. The system is based on Atmega8535 microcontroller and uses HCHO type sensors to detect formalin levels. The design of this system consists of several components of the HCHO sensor to detect formaldehyde levels, relay components as controller saklarmikrokontroler atmega8535 as the main control of this system and LCD as a viewer of the output of the system and use 12V adapter as its power supply. How this system works when the appliance is turned on, the sample will be inserted into the container available. After the food is fed into the container, the HCHO sensor will detect the formalin content in the sample and produce the output voltage. The output voltage goes into the microcontroller to then convert from analog to percentage and is displayed to the LCD.
