Abstract

This paper entitled A Description Of Figure Of Speech Lady Gaga‟s Selected Song Lyrics the aims of this paper is to explore the figure of speech in Lady Gaga‟s selected song lyrics. In doing this paper, the writer using qualitative . The writer takes data from various written sources such as song, book and the other proposal , website , and journals from internet it means that the writer use literature study method as the method of study.From the discussion below the writer organize which sentence included in some figure of speechbased on Hatch statement but in this paper ,the writer just found simile, metaphor , hyperbole , personification and the last synechdoche included in the song entitled Shallow, I’ll never love again , Always Remember Us This Way and Look What I Found

Makalah ini berjudul deskripsi majas pada Lirik Lagu Lady Gaga yang, tujuan makalah ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi majas dalam lirik lagu pilihan Lady Gaga. Dalam melakukan penulisan ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penulis mengambil data dari berbagai sumber tertulis seperti lagu, buku dan proposal lainnya, situs web, dan jurnal dari internet artinya penulis menggunakan metode studi pustaka sebagai metode penelitian. Dari diskusi di bawah ini penulis mengatur kalimat mana yang termasuk dalam beberapa kiasan menurut pernyataan Hatch ternyata penulis menemukan majas simile , metafora, hiperbola, personifikasi dan yang terakhir synechdoche yang termasuk dalam lagu berjudul Shallow, I‟ll never love again , Always Remember Us This Way , Look What I Found
