    Penerapan Statistical Quality Control dalam Pengendalian Mutu Produksi Teh Hitam di Pabrik PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Unit Tobasari

    Abstract
    Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pengendalian mutu teh hitam berada dalam keadaan in Statistical quality control.Dalam hal pengendalian mutu teh PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV melakukan berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu teh sejak mulai dari pemeliharaan tanaman sampai proses produksi. Dalam memproduksi teh ada beberapa syarat mutu yang harus diperhatikan, tiga diantaranya yaitu kadar air, tea tasting dan density. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Statistical Quality Control (SQC).SQC merupakan salah satu teknik yang digunakan dalam pengendalian kualitas.Kelebihan dari metode ini adalah bekerja berdasarkan data yang obyektif, bukan berdasarkan opini. Dalam pengendalian proses statistika ada dua jenis data yaitu, data variabel dan data atribut. Adapun data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data variabel. Metode statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peta kendali rata-rata (̅ ̅̅ , range (R) dan standar deviasi (SD). Setelah dilakukan pengolahan data diperoleh hasil bahwa syarat mutu yang diteliti yaitu, kadar air, tea tasting,dan densityberada dalam keadaan in statistical quality control.
     
    This final project aims to determine whether black tea quality control is in a state of statistical quality control. In terms of tea quality control PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV made various efforts to improve the quality of tea from maintence to the production process.In producing tea there are several quality requirements that must be considered, three of which are water content, tea tasting, and density. As for the method used in this study is the method of statistical quality control (SQC). SQC is one of the techniques used in quality control. The advantage of this method is to work based on objective data not based on opinion. In statistical process control there are two types of data, namely variable data and attribute data. The data used in this study is variable data. The statistical method used is the average control chart, range, and standard deviation. After data processing was obtained the results that the quality requiments studied were water contant, tea tasting, and density were in a state of statistical quality control.
