    Penerapan Analisis Jalur Terhadap Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Indeks Pembangunan Manusia di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

    Abstract
    Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) adalah pengukuran perbandingan dari angka harapan hidup, harapan lama sekolah dan rata-rata lama sekolah untuk seluruh negara di dunia. Capaian pembangunan manusia menjadi perhatian negara indoneisa. Tujuan utama pemerintah Indonesia adalah mencapai pembangunan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya dan pembangunan masyarakat keseluruhannya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan penelitian bagaimana hubungan antara angka harapan hidup, harapan lama sekolah, dan rata-rata lama sekolah terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji dengan analisis statistik yang bisa mendeteksi besarnya pengaruh faktor-faktor tersebut terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa variabel angka harapan hidup (X1), harapan lama sekolah (X2), dan rata-rata lama sekolah (X3) memberikan kontribusi secara bersama-sama sebesar 93% terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia (Y). Sehingga variabel eksogen berpengaruh 9% terhadap variabel endogen.
     
    Human Development Index (HDI) is a comparative measure of life expectancy, school duration expectancy and the average of school duration for all countries in the world. The achievement of human development is concerd by the goverment of Indoneisa. The main purpose of the Indonesian government is to achieve complete Indonesian human development and overall community development. Therefore, it needs to research how the relationship between life expectancy, school duration expectancy, and the average of school duration towards the human development index. In this study we will assess by statistical analysis which can detect the influence of these factors on the human development index by using path analysis. The results showed that variable life expectancy (X1), the school duration expectancy (X2), and the average of school duration (X3) contributed jointly by 93% against the human development index (Y). So that the exogenous variables affect 93% of the endogenous variables.
