Abstract

In the paper entitled A Description of Theme of Love Affair in Selected Songs from The Beatles’ Rubber Soul Album, the author wants to describe the theme of love contained in rubber soul albums. In this song there are themes or nuances of romance that tend to contain elements such as ignorance, selfishness, lies, and trust. Through this album, The Beatles have become the pioneers of more complicated and complex romance lyrics, where at that time most other artists created love songs with very simple lyrics and the lyrics were immediately understood clearly by listeners.
