Perancangan Kontrol Ruangan Anti Asap Rokok Berbasis Arduino Mega 2560

Abstract

The use of gas sensor MQ-2 as a smoke detector is a tool that can detect the presence of of cigarette smoke and to activate a warning sound. This device consists of a gas sensor MQ-2 as a detector of the presence of smoke, Arduino as controller input and output, Buzzer as a warning sound, and equipped with fans to neutralize the air in a simple room in miniature. The output of the gas sensor MQ-2 is compared with a reference voltage by Arduino Mega 2560, so that the output of the MQ-2 resulted in two circumstances, namely low at the moment there is no detectable presence of cigarette smoke, and high when smoke is detected. Arduino Mega 2560 is used to process the situation, so that when smoke is detected the buzzer will sound a warning and turn on the fan.

Penggunaan sensor gas MQ-2 sebagai pendeteksi asap rokok merupakan alat yang dapat mendeteksi keberadaan asap rokok dan dapat mengaktifkan suara peringatan. Alat ini terdiri dari sensor gas MQ-2 sebagai pendeteksi keberadaan asap rokok, Arduino sebagai pengendali input dan output, Buzzer sebagai suara peringatan, serta dilengkapi kipas untuk menetralkan udara di dalam miniatur ruangan sederhana. Output dari sensor gas MQ-2 akan dibandingkan dengan tegangan referensi oleh Arduino Mega 2560, sehingga output dari MQ-2 menghasilkan dua keadaan, yaitu low pada saat tidak ada terdeteksi keberadaan asap rokok, dan high saat terdeteksi asap rokok. Arduino Mega 2560 digunakan untuk memproses keadaan tersebut, sehingga pada saat terdeteksi asap rokok buzzer akan mengeluarkan suara peringatan dan menyalakan kipas.
